Agnes — Clinical Relationship Coach, Relationship Calibration

If you work in healthcare, you already know how to hold everything together for someone else. I built RECAL for the part nobody prepares you for — holding it together for the person you go home to.

I'm a Clinical Nurse with over 15 years of experience, and I now work as a relationship coach specifically for nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals.

I understand the specific pressures of this work from the inside — the shift patterns, the emotional labour, the particular kind of depletion that comes from spending a career caring for other people. That's the lens RECAL was built through.

Why RECAL exists

The same pattern, again and again.

After years working alongside nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals — and coaching many of them through the same struggle — I kept noticing an identical pattern. The people who were most exceptional under pressure at work were often the ones who felt most disconnected in their relationships at home.

It was never a lack of love or effort. It was that nobody had ever handed them a framework built for their specific working life — one that accounted for shift work, emotional labour, and the particular kind of depletion that comes from a career spent caring for others.

RECAL is the framework I wished had existed. Five stages — Recognize, Explore, Calibrate, Attune, Lock In — designed to move healthcare professionals from burnout back to genuine connection, without pretending the realities of the job away.

The same precision that makes you exceptional at work can be applied to the relationship waiting for you at home.
