Privacy Policy — Relationship Calibration

Relationship Calibration ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through recal.au, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to this website and to the free RECAL Starter Guide sign-up.

Information we collect

We collect information directly from you and, separately, some limited technical information automatically as you browse.

Information you provide: when you request the free RECAL Starter Guide, we collect your first name and email address through the sign-up form on this site.
Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tools automatically log some technical data when you visit — such as your approximate location (derived from IP address), browser type, device type, and which pages you viewed. We also use the Pinterest Tag (described below), which may share a securely hashed version of your email address with Pinterest if you arrived from a Pinterest Pin and later submit the guide form.

How we use your information

To send you the free RECAL Starter Guide by email, automatically, right after you request it.
To occasionally send follow-up emails related to RECAL, our content, or coaching — you can unsubscribe from these at any time.
To understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use this website, so we can improve it.
To measure whether our social media content (including Pinterest Pins) is effectively reaching people who go on to request the guide.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything beyond what's described in this policy.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run this website and deliver the guide. Each only receives the information it needs to do its specific job:

Zapier	Automatically passes your form submission along to trigger the guide email
Microsoft 365 / Outlook	Sends the automated email containing your guide
Pinterest	Receives a securely hashed version of your email (if applicable) and website visit data, to measure ad and content performance
ManyChat	If you message us on Instagram, this service can send an automated reply

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf. We only work with providers who take data security seriously, and we never share more information with them than is necessary.

Cookies and tracking technologies

This site uses the Pinterest Tag, a small piece of code that helps us understand whether people who see our Pinterest Pins go on to visit this site and request the guide. It may use cookies or similar technologies in your browser. You can control or block cookies through your own browser settings at any time; doing so may not affect your ability to use this site, though it will limit our ability to measure how you found us.

Data storage and security

Your information is stored securely with the providers listed above, all of which use industry-standard security measures. No method of transmission or storage online is ever completely secure, but we take reasonable, appropriate steps to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, to:

Tell you what personal information we hold about you
Correct any information that's inaccurate
Delete your information from our records
Stop sending you emails — every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can simply contact us directly

Data retention

We keep your name and email address for as long as you remain subscribed, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.

Children's privacy

This website and the RECAL Method are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

A note on our clinical background. Relationship Calibration is a coaching service, separate and distinct from any clinical healthcare service. Nothing collected through this website forms part of a clinical health record, and the free guide, coaching, and all other services offered here are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or clinical care.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our website, tools, or services change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
